Until August 2006 Christian Huemer was Associate Professor at the Institute for Computer Science and Business Informatics at the University of Vienna, Austria. He finished his master in business informatics at Vienna University of Technology in 1993. In 1997 he received a doctors degree from the University of Vienna. In 2002 the University of Vienna conferred the Venia Docendi in business informatics on Christian Huemer. His research interests are methodologies for modelling e-business transactions as well as meta data support for electronic business and EDI environments. Currently, he is Vice Chair of UN/CEFACT's Techniques and Methodologies Group (TMG). For a long time he has been a contributer to UN/CEFACT's Modelling Methodology (UMM). Furthermore, he has been a member of the ebXML initiative from its beginning and organized the last ebXML Meeting in May 2001. He was involved in several international and national projects.
Since September 2006 Christian Huemer is now with the Vienna University of Technology. |
